  • Pagsanjan (pag-san-han) waterfalls or also well known as Magdapio Falls is one of highly recommended tourist place to visit when you are in Philippine. It is located in Pagsanjan town, Laguna Province about 2 hours drive to southwest from Manila (approximately 70km). The main attraction that  many tourist would go to Pagsanjan is to see Pagsanjan Falls. But that’s not the only activities here. Once the tourists arrive Pagsanjan Falls, they will be taken by canoe (bangka) up the river to the falls and pass through 14 rapids. This 30 minutes trip is through the thick forest in a deep canyon, with Sierra Madre mountains on your both side. Each canoe usually navigate by two boatmen (bankeros) against the river’s current which is really amazing thing to see, because there are many boulders and eddies on the way.
